It can take the body 5-7 days to start slowing down fat burning so that is why it is important to have a cheat day once per week to help boost your metabolism and fat burning.
If you eat ‘strictly’ for 6 days (eating from all food groups) then you have earned your ‘cheat day’.
This can include: Cakes, Ice-cream, Doughnuts, Chocolate etc, but I would recommend you don’t go mad, rather plan when you are going to ‘cheat’ e.g. Saturday PM and allow yourself a ‘window’ (3 hours) so that you don’t get carried away.
This way you are able to satisfy any cravings without going over the top and setting yourself back.
